The first thing which comes to my mind when I hear about Mumbai is its perpetual traffic, daily hustle bustle, fast lifestyle etc. In a way the title earned by this city as 'The City never sleeps' is so true. It is endless discussing about Mumbai and its lifestyle. But I am here to share some positives of the city too. While there are many good things to share, this blog will help you as a guide for some exciting shopping areas of Mumbai. In case you happen to be in Mumbai, you can plan a visit any of these shopping places whichever is closer to your destination.
Fashion street:
This is a huge street for roadside shopping close to Churchgate and opposite to Azad Maidaan. Quite popular among college crowd due to its price. The street is famous for clothes, accessories, bags etc. If you are not very brand conscious look no beyond than Fashion street. However, once you are done with the entire street you may feel little exhausted, so plan you day accordingly.
TIP: Look for any manufacturing defects in case you want to buy. Also don't forget to negotiate
Colaba Causeway:
TIP: Colaba Causeway is closer to Gateway of India. So, if shopping at Causeway is on your mind dont forget to visit The Gateway of India. Visiting this place in the evening will be fun.

TIP: The very famous Siddhivinayak Temple is close to this market. Visit this temple before shopping as after shopping you may get tired and carrying lot of shopping bags will be difficult.
Bandra is a suburb in Mumbai known for its elite crowd and fashion updates. A lot of Bollywood crowd around has also added to its charm. Linking road is a famous shopping street opposite to national college. You will see a variety of footwear and it may so happen that you will feel like buying a lot of them in one visit. Right from trendy bags, clothes, accessories etc everything is available here at a cheap price.
TIP: Incase the street doesn't excite you don't get upset there are a lot of shops around this street which will get you good stuff.
This market is in South Mumbai and has a very colonial feel and looks very historical. Famous for fresh fruits and vegetables the place is quite crowded. The specialty here is a section which is dedicated to pets.
Mumbai is a dream destination for many who aspire to live in a Metro. It is the commercial hub of India and of course the Bollywood capital too. For an outsider this city may seem tough to live, however its culture, cosmopolitan lifestyle, opportunities, entertainment etc makes it the most aspiring city for many.
